Spring Break 2024
Read the description below and find application at the bottom of this page.
There are two Immersion Trip options for spring break 2024. Please read the descriptions of each trip and use the form below to apply for all experiences that you are interested in attending. Selecting just one trip and submitting your deposit will secure your spot on that trip as long as space allows (pending application review). The Center for Student Engagement will review all applications to multiple locations and consider the needs and group makeup of each trip. If you are accepted as an Immersion Trip participant, we will let you know which trip you have been selected for by February 5th.
Participants are expected to attend 4 pre-trip meetings during the spring semester to prepare with your team, as well as a post-trip celebration event. All trip experiences will begin and end on Geneva's campus (dates specific to each trip are below); participants are expected to travel and remain with the group at all times during the duration of the trip. The trip cost covers all components of the trip including travel, all meals, lodging, and cultural experiences. The Center for Student Engagement also offers a variety of fundraising options to subsidize the cost for participants. Students who take advantage of these opportunities can expect to pay a fraction of the trip sticker price (already these experiences are incredibly affordable compared to a similar trip that you would plan on your own).
Quest Trips are cultural trips that allow students to explore new cities, serve with different organizations, and learn how people are engaging in their local communities in ways that serve God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
