Application for Student Quest Trip Leaders
Quest student leaders are expected to:
- Partner with trip advisor to share responsibilities in recruiting student participants and completing administrative tasks prior to the trip.
- Work with the trip advisor in facilitating fundraising efforts for the team.
- Attend the trip.
- Assist in leading preparation discussions and trip meetings.
- Attend all Quest events including any meetings or trainings and the Immersion Trip Celebration after spring break.
- Help to develop positive team dynamics.
- Assist in making decisions during the trip based on the needs of the group, productivity, and safety.
- Assist in tracking expenses and keeping expenses within the determined budget.
- Assist in delegating group responsibilities such as projects or leading devotions.
- Provide opportunities after the trip for debriefing and discussion.
- Any other duties as assigned by the trip advisor or Center for Student Engagement staff.
