Legacy Photographs at Commencement
Legacy photographs will be taken for graduates whose immediate family members are Geneva College alumni. Commencement is a special day for all, and we want to recognize our multi-generational families! These photos will be shared in the Geneva Magazine and made available online. Photos will be taken near the steps in front of Alexander Hall immediately following the undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Monday, May 10.

Geneva College announces the death of President emeritus, John H. “Jack” White, DMin, on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Dr. White faithfully served the college as its 18th President from 1992-2004 and as Dean of Religious Services and Professor of Biblical Studies beginning in 1970. Read More

Alumni Council Nominations
It is time to nominate new alumni council members for the three year term beginning August 1, 2021. Members of the Geneva Alumni Council serve the Alumni Association by advancing the interests of Geneva College, promoting mutual acquaintance of the graduates and strengthening the relationship between alumni and the College. Please submit nominations for new alumni council members.
Nominations for Alumni Awards
All alumni are encouraged to submit nominations for awards for those who are have made significant contributions in their work and demonstrate support for Geneva. The awards will be presented at the All Alumni Dinner on Friday, October 1 as part of the Homecoming celebration. To view guidelines or submit a nomination, visit the alumni awards website.
Featured Class Notes
Robert H. McFarland '55 has been awarded the Faithful Servant Award (2021) by the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. For the 14th consecutive year, RPTS honors one of their alumni who has labored faithfully in ministry throughout a lifetime of service for Christ and His kingdom.
Mark Sweesy '77 has been awarded one of the two Heart Rhythm Society Distinguished Teacher Awards. Mark is a professor emeritus at Arrhythmia Technologies, Institute.
Melissa Smathers '94 became a small business owner of an established print shop located here in Beaver Falls, PA called InkStar in February of 2020. Even though it was a rough first year with the pandemic, she was able to stay open and is looking forward to a healthy, prosperous 2021.
Hope (Wing) Thompson '13 and husband, Josiah Thompson '13 gave birth to their first child. Daughter, Jobey was born in May. The Thompsons live in Missouri.
Matthew '20 and Sierra (Dunfee) '20 Munford were united in marriage on December 19, 2020. The Munfords reside in Maryland.
