There is an ever-growing public concern as to safety of the food we eat. Hardly a week goes by without a media story about some sort of food recall, bacterial food bore illnesses, or some other food safety related issue. So much of our food is produced and processed in places we have no ideas as to how or where it is done. Raising this level of concern leaves the consumer questioning just how safe is our food.

Featured Class Notes
Bruce '63 and Lois (Edgar '63) Alexander celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 12, 2018. Bruce retired as a colonel in the Army after 27 years of service in Washington D.C. The Alexander's retired to Mebane, NC.
John Manzetti '69 officially retired in 2018. He also published a book, "Small Bites of the Elephant" in 2018, to share his broad business knowledge and experiences with entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Randy Roeber '79 retired as a Lockheed Martin Program Manager in November 2018. He and his wife Diane (Kirchmeier '75) live in Vestal NY. They have five sons and twelve grandchildren.
Sarah (Zwinger '98) Gibbs is pursuing a technical career after 19 years of working in higher education. She is an Implementation Consultant for TargetX, working remotely from home. She is excited to use the knowledge of the past 19 years to help colleges and universities better facilitate the use of their CRM.
Tyler Marwood '09 and wife Katherine welcomed their daughter Mercy Anne on August 23, 2018.
