We have the most amazing alumni and friends! Because of your generosity, we surpassed our goal to raise $160,000 for our students during the month of March. The Geneva College Advancement Board and Trustees raised a giving challenge to match all gifts totaling $160,000, but you gave MORE! Over $212,000 was given by 643 donors during the month of March for a total of more than $372,000.

We thank the Lord for your generous hearts!

Award Nominations – There is a new structure to the awards that includes the following:

• All Alumni Award
• Distinguished Service Award
• Life G (Awarded at Commencement)

All alumni are encouraged to submit nominations for awards for those who are have made significant contributions in their work and demonstrate support for Geneva. It’s Time to vote in new Alumni Council Members

Each year there are four alumni council members whose terms expire. Those members can accept an opportunity to serve again or decline, thereby creating the need for a new member. The entire Alumni Association is presented with opportunity to vote via survey for the members on the ballot or they can write-in additional candidates. You will receive an email in May that will have a link to a survey with the ballot for the 2018-19 candidates for the Alumni Council. 

 
Latest Class Notes

Dr. Terry Norris '74 is a member of the American College of Dentists, an ethical and leadership arm of dentistry. He was recently informed he would be the next regent (trustee) over a 5 state, plus Ontario, area. Terry will perform the invocation and benediction at the ACD convocation this fall. Daniel '16 and Samantha (Jensen '16) White were married on June 3, 2017 and reside in Stroudsburg, PA. Rev. Theodore Lai '94 is the Pastor at Chinese Zion Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA. He and wife Vanessa reside in Alhambra, CA. Faith Hemminger '12 received a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Vincent College in 2016. She resides in Rockwood, PA. Andrew Stopchick '08, '09 MBA is currently serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy abroad. He is the Antiterrorism Officer and the Port Services Officer on the base. Andrew will go back to Newport, RI, in August 2018 to continue schooling for his next job that job will begin in July 2019.
