Alumni and Friends New England Fall Foliage Cruise – October 2017
The alumni association is sponsoring a cruise for fall of 2017. Royal Caribbean cruise line has eight- or nine-night cruises departing from Baltimore, MD, and travelling up the New England coast to The Bay of Fundy and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Geneva College Office of Alumni Relations invites alumni in the Pittsburgh region to participate this spring in the Take a Student to Eat (T.A.S.T.E.) Program! Dr. Vivian Hewitt ’43 celebrated her 95th birthday at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City on February 17, 2015.
Cheryl (Oller ’77) DeFrain received a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Stephanie (Vesolich ’00) Wilsey is the Director for the Undergraduate Psychology Program at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Ilia Matos ’85 was recently appointed by Governor of Florida to serve as a member of the Florida Commission for Independent Education.
Dr. Travis York ’05, MAHE ’07 recently accepted the position of Director of Student Success, Research & Policy for the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities in Washington, DC.
