Geneva College kicks off fall with Homecoming & Family Weekend on October 5-6, 2018. The college extends its hospitality to alumni, family, friends and Beaver County community members with family-friendly activities, entertainment, games and dining options
Homecoming events take place across campus on Friday and Saturday. The pedestrian walkway in the center of campus will feature booths and food trucks on Saturday, October 6 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All over campus, there will be concerts, dinners, a zip-line, food vendors, family activities, a tailgate party, football and soccer games and much more.
Homecoming would not be complete without the Geneva College reunions. This year, there will be about 20 reunions. Reunions give alumni a chance to feel welcomed to their home away from home, re-connect, and reminisce with friends and loved ones. Participants experience a wonderful time remembering and making memories that last a lifetime.
In the afternoon, head down to appreciate the new two-toned turf, raise the towel, don your Geneva apparel and cheer for the Golden Tornadoes football team as they challenge Bethany College. Preceding the game, the Homecoming Court will be honored, and the 2018 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned as Geneva royalty. In addition, the 1998 Victory Bowl Champion Geneva Football Team will be recognized at halftime, and the Geneva College Marching Band will be joined by over 200 alumni members. A tailgate dinner party open to all takes place immediately following the game.
For soccer fans, both the Geneva Women's (11 a.m.) and Men's (7:30 p.m.) teams will play their rivals from Westminster College.
