(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Brian Jensen is stepping into a new role at Geneva College. Formerly the Vice President of Student Development, his role has shifted to Vice President of Enrollment & Student Development.

This position comes with new responsibilities and new challenges, but it will present new opportunities as well. “I have a lot more to think about, that’s for sure” says Jensen. “I now oversee four vital student experience functions of the college – Athletics, Enrollment Services, Marketing & Public Relations, and Student Development – a very exciting adventure. More than ever before, we’ll be taking a deliberate and strategic approach to the entire Geneva student experience—from first point of contact to graduation.”

Jensen began working at Geneva in 2007, when he started as a Resident Director in the Geneva Arms Apartments. He transitioned to Director of Student Leadership Development in 2011, Vice President of Student Development in 2014, and now he will continue to serve the Geneva community in his new capacity.

Despite the changes at Geneva through the years as new students come, new positions are filled, and new programs are added, Jensen says the college will always be the same at its core, “We will be delivering a high-quality educational experience through the ministry of education, true to the mission of Geneva College.”

Jensen hopes to use his new position to help Geneva continue this mission.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 80 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, Adult Degree Programs with fully online and classroom options, and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality. U.S. News & World Report ranks Geneva as a Top Three Best Value Regional University with one of the Top 100 engineering programs in the nation. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world.
