Beaver Falls, PA – A 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-17) win over Grove City Tuesday (Nov. 1) night advances the Geneva volleyball Golden Tornadoes to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Semifinals on Friday, November 4. Now 22-11 overall, Geneva is set to face the Thomas More Saints at 8 p.m. on Friday in Bethany’s Nutting Gymnasium.
Outstanding serves from the service line helped advance Geneva to the next round in the PAC postseason. Gabrielle Dickson (Brookfield, OH/Kennedy Catholic) recorded six aces leading the night’s 11 aces earned over the Wolverines.
Dickson also led the Golden Tornado defense with 18 digs supported by Alexis Ritson (Irwin, PA/Hempfield) with 13.
Olivia Test (Negley, OH/Heartland Christian) posted a fantastic nine kills in 13 swings (.538) leading the Geneva offense. Rachel Tuck (Burke, VA/Lake Braddock Secondary School) earned a tremendous .500 hitting percentage posting six kills in 12 swings while committing no errors. She also tallied five digs, a block
