Gibson McCracken Named NSCAA NCAA D3 Men’s Scholar All-America Team

Beaver Falls, PA – On Friday, December 9 Geneva College men’s soccer junior defender Gibson McCracken (Beaver Falls, PA/BCCS) was named 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar All-America Second Team.

McCracken maintains an outstanding 3.70 grade-point average (GPA) while majoring in business at Geneva College. On Thursday, he was named to the NSCAA Division III Scholar All-East Region First Team.

The prestigious NSCAA All-America Team honor tops McCrackens decorated career as a three-time All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) selection, he finished the season second in the league in game-winning goals (5), sixth in total goals (9) and seventh in points (19). The Golden Tornadoes also led the PAC with a league-low 18 goals allowed, a 0.84 goals against average and 11 shutouts.
