Geneva Tennis Wins on the Road; Moyer’s Continues Perfect Season

Geneva’s 9-0 sweep over non-conference opponent Frostburg State University raises Geneva’s overall record 8-4, 3-3 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Freshman Grace Moyer (Virginia Beach, VA/Landstown) continues her perfect season with an 8-1, 8-0 decision over Frostburg. Moyer competed for the Golden Tornadoes in third singles. She is now 10-0 in fourth singles, 2-0 in third singles.

“"FSU is an up and coming program that will be tough within the next couple years," said head coach Mandee Craft. “I was glad to come away with a win, especially leading into our last two weeks.”

On Monday, October 10 the Golden Tornadoes will host PAC rivals Washington & Jefferson College at 4 p.m. at Blackhawk High School for a home match.
