Beaver Falls, PA – Freshmen tennis player Grace Moyer (Virginia Beach, Va. / Landstown) was honored as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for her victories this week for the Geneva College women’s tennis team.
Moyer ran her singles record this season to 12-0 after going 3-0 last week, winning
twice at fourth singles (against Westminster College and Bethany College) and once at third singles (against Frostburg State University). She also went 2-1 playing between the number one and number two doubles position.
The Geneva College women’s tennis team is 3-3 in conference play, 8-4 overall. They host W&J at home on Monday, October 10 at Blackhawk High School at 3 p.m. Later in the week they will also host Waynesburg College before traveling to non-conference opponent Penn-State Altoona.
