New Wilmington, PA – Geneva women’s tennis dropped an 8-1 decision to Westminster Tuesday (Oct. 4). The loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 6-4, 2-3 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC).
“The 8-1 score may not reflect it but we played some of our best tennis today,” said head coach Mandee Craft. “Westminster is the best team in the PAC but we really made them work. All of our doubles teams played phenomenally.”
Freshman Grace Moyer (Virginia Beach, VA/Landstown) remains undefeated in fourth singles posting a 9-0, 4-0 season record. Moyer earned the afternoon’s win in a 3-6, 7-5 (12-10) final.
