Beaver Falls, PA – The Thomas More Saints handed Geneva women’s soccer a 3-0 loss Saturday (Oct. 22) afternoon. The conference loss lowers the Golden Tornadoes overall record to 4-10, 1-6 in the league. Thomas More protects its first seed title moving its record to 16-0-1 overall, 7-0 in the PAC.
Freshman goalkeeper Danielle Lincoln (Milton, PA/Milton) posted eight saves for the Golden Tornadoes facing 21 shots.
Geneva’s offense was unable to challenge the Saint’s goalkeeper with a shot but did tally two corner kicks.
The Golden Tornadoes will finish the 2016 season on the road next week. On Wednesday, October 26 Geneva will travel to Thiel College for a 6 p.m. start.
