Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva women’s tennis improved its overall record to 6-3, 2-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference in a 9-0 win over the Thiel Tomcats.
“This was a solid win for us,” said head coach Mandee Craft. She added, “Definitely a day to be thankful for indoor courts!”
Thiel and Geneva met at Bradys Run indoor courts with consistent rain showers outdoors.
Third doubles Megan Shultz (Montrose, PA/Montrose) and Victoria Hinds (Montrose, PA/Montrose) earned a stainless 8-0 decision.
Since the road match at Frostburg was postponed to rain, the Golden Tornadoes return to action at Westminster College on Tuesday, October 4 starting at 3:30 p.m.
