HOPEWELL TWP., PA – Geneva graduating senior Rachel Netherland was recognized by the Beaver County Sports Hall of Fame at its 41st annual banquet, held Sunday night at The Fez in Hopewell Township. Netherland, a three-time all-conference first teamer in volleyball received the Geneva Award.
A Central Valley (Monaca, PA) graduate, Netherland was conference player of the week three times and finished her career with 1778 assists, 768 kills, and 107 service aces, all among Geneva’s career leaders. She also played in 99 winning games.
A Psychology and Human Services major, Rachel will be attending graduate school to become a Recreational Therapist.
