Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva’s Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) was selected as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his work during the week of January 3, 2016.
Vaudrin, a junior, scored 47 points this week against W&J and Chatham including a triple double that helped Geneva to a road win at W&J during his dominant week. In that game, he scored 24 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and recorded 10 assists.
His consistency at the charity stripe (.765 %) brought in 13 points for the Golden Tornadoes for the week. In addition, Vaudrin averaged 8.5 rebounds a game while earning 11 assists and three steals.
Currently, Vaudrin is the league’s top scorer, averaging 21.2 points a game.
Wednesday, January 13 Geneva is at Thomas More (7:30 p.m.) followed by a home game Saturday at 8 p.m. against all-time rival Westminster.
