Newville, PA- The Geneva women’s Cross Country team competed in the Mid-East Regional Meet on Saturday.
Combined they improved by 175 places over where they finished in last year’s regional race. In addition they also finished 4th among President’s Athletic Conference schools.
Sophomore Amy Pinson (Colorado Springs, CO/Homeschool) built on her stellar season by improving 107 places from where she finished in last year’s competition.
“Regionals is the largest and most competitive race of the season,” said head coach Brian Yowler. “I challenged the teams to look at this race as an opportunity to excel, and they certainly did! Hands down, this was our best performance of the season.”
