Beaver Falls, PA - A pair of goals each from senior Alexander Rosenbaum (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) and freshman Liam O’Halloran (Elyria, OH/Elyria Catholic) highlighted Geneva’s 5-0 win over Hood College in the opening round of ECAC Tournament action.
Freshman goalkeeper Luke Nolan (Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) made five saves in the first 74:45 of the shutout and freshman Adam Voelker (Butler, PA/Butler) made one save to finish the shutout. Sophomore Clayton Cox (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) closed the scoring for Geneva with 14:01 left in the game.
Zach Lehman (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Mennonite) recorded two assists while Daniel Cox (Cary, NC/Cary) and Abel Carleton (Darlington, PA/Beaver County Christian) each had one.
Geneva, now 13-4-4 and seeded third in the ECAC Regional, will play 7th seeded Alvernia Friday at Penn State-Behrend.
