The Geneva College Symphonic Band will perform its annual spring concert on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the Metheny Fieldhouse on Geneva′s campus.
Under the direction of Professor Donald Kephart, the 65-member symphonic band will present both traditional and contemporary works such as Shenandoah, Midnight on Main Street, Impact, Tryptich II, When the Saints Go Marching In, Southern Hymn and others.
“This year’s concert will once again present an evening of great music with a variety of styles from familiar melodies and hymn tunes to several high energy rhythmic selections,” said Kephart.
The Geneva College Percussion Ensemble will also present a few selections from their upcoming concert.
The concert is free and open to the public.
