Latrobe, PA- The St. Vincent Bearcats turned a 0-0 halftime score to a 2-0 final handing Geneva its 14th loss of the season. Geneva is now 1-14 overall, still winless in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference with a 0-6 record.
"While we had some great individual efforts we fell short creating opportunities on offense," said head coach Linda Sumner.
The Bearcats outshot Geneva 36-4. Freshman goalkeeper Jordan Gigliotti (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) made 11 saves. Heidi Mann (Colorado Springs, CO/Evangelical Christian Academy) took two of Geneva′s four shots. Laiton Suders (Chambersburg, PA/Cumberland Valley Christian) and Rhetta King (Waynesburg, PA/Open Door Christian) each took a shot as well.
Saturday October 25 Geneva is on the road against Chatham University starting at 1 p.m.
