Washington, PA – Geneva women′s soccer dropped a 2-0 final at Washington & Jefferson College today. The loss drops the Golden Tornadoes overall record to 1-11, 0-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.
“Our team played a very close game with a talented W&J team. With only one sub on the bench, we play 90 minutes of good soccer and I couldn′t be more proud of them,” said head coach Linda Sumner.
In goal, Jordan Gigliotti (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) finished the match with ten saves.
Geneva returns to its home field Wednesday October 15 for a 5 p.m. game against Grove City.
