Ian Naismith, grandson of the man who invented basketball, is a natural in front of a crowd. Considering that his Naismith Basketball Exhibit is already drawing a crowd on its first day at Geneva College, that′s a good thing.
The exhibit features around 1,000 items, including the original set of rules for basketball written by Dr. James Naismith. The event is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, April 15 – 16 and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday. April 17.
This event has also drawn some press from local media, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Beaver County Times.
