WITH NCCAA ALL-AMERICAN AWARDS

Beaver Falls, PA - Geneva′s men′s and women′s basketball teams recently received their post-season honors from both the Presidents′ Athletic Conference and the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association). Senior Allyson Clarke was the highest decorated athlete with a first team NCCAA All-Region award, as well as being named the player of the year in the East Region. Even more impressive was the honor of being named a first-team NCCAA All-American. Clarke led Geneva′s women to a 20-6 record, which marked the first time in school history the women′s program won 20 games in back to back years. She finished the season with a team best 18.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. For her career, she finished second on the all-time rebounding list and third in scoring.

Renee Rawding received second team All-Region consideration in the NCCAA, while Clarke, Rawding and Michawn Rich were all recognized with Coaches Honors from the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

On the men′s side, Greg McDivitt was a first team All-Region selection as well as receiving second team All-American consideration. McDivitt led the Golden Tornadoes with 16.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Teammate Bryan Hill, who finished the season with exactly 100 three-point field goals, was a second team All-Region. Justin Nardi was an honorable mention selection for the Golden Tornadoes. In the PAC, both McDivitt and Hill received Coaches Honors.
