GENEVADROPS HOME OPENER TO SETON HILL
Beaver Falls, PA - Coming off an impressive weekend that saw Geneva′s women′s tennis team bring home a second place trophy at the PS-Behrend Invitational, the Golden Tornadoes returned home to Beaver Falls for Monday′s home opener. However, the outcome wasn′t as satisfying for the home fans. Geneva dropped a 6-3 decision to former AMC foe Seton Hill University. The loss dropped Geneva′s overall record to 2-2.
Allison Krisza improved to a perfect 4-0 on the season, while Tess Roholt won for the fourth time in singles play in the early season. Geneva′s other point came with a doubles victory from Julia Buck and Beth Sweatman.
The Golden Tornadoes will travel to Bethany for their first PAC action on Wednesday. Geneva′s next home match won′t be until next month when Geneva welcomes Thomas More on October 6th.
