I focus on all aspects of nutrition including community, food science, population health, nutrition education, lifespan nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. My research interests have primarily focused on access to health foods, food pantries and food insecurity issues.
I am also a licensed dietitian (LD) and have been named as a Fellow by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND).
I love that nutrition is something we all need to learn more about. I love it when students make discoveries about themselves related to foods, what they like to eat, what they like to cook and how proper nutrition can make them feel.
