Dr. Mack is the editor of a professional journal entitled Betwixt and Between: Education for Young Adolescents, a peer reviewed journal of middle level research and is the official journal of the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education and the Pennsylvania Professors of Middle Level Education.

In May of 2024, Dr. Mack published two topics with the International Community of Christian Teacher Educators titled "Exploring the 'Why': A Technology Integration Framework for Glorifying God with Technology in the Classroom" and "Communicating Rationales or Purpose in Lesson Design to Future Educators through Modeled Talk".
