The Engineering Experience

Discover the marvels of Engineering!

Saturday, February 22, 2025 | 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The Engineering Experience is a one-day program for high school students interested in exploring the world of engineering. Students will participate in hands-on projects in an environment that mimics the experience of working with a team in an engineering firm. This event is hosted by Geneva's Engineering and STEM clubs and Geneva College’s Engineering Department. Open to students currently in grades 9-12. Closed toed shoes and long pants are required.

  • A four session rotation of hands-on projects that include civil, mechanical, chemical and electrical/computer engineering
  • A tour of current senior design projects
  • Lunch (provided)
  • Large-group culminating activity

Cost: $15 per person
