About The Conference
This conference aims to increase church leaders’ awareness of the needs of refugees, immigrants and other internationals and highlight strategies churches can use to proactively offer welcoming and global care initiatives within their communities.
- Learn about international refugee/immigrant crises and local impacts
- Hear stories, concerns and hopes of local Refugees, Immigrants and Internationals
- Participate in mini-workshops on developing church-based welcoming and care strategies for refugees/immigrants & other internationals
- Collaborate with other churches, professional organizations and nonprofits in developing local global care and welcoming initiatives
- Participate in an International Welcoming Cultural Lunch Session
Certificate of Participation
- Each Participant will receive a Geneva College Conference Certificate of Participation
- The Western PA District Office of the Christian & Missionary Alliance will offer 5 hours of Ministerial CEUs
Cost
$15 per person and includes lunch.
*Cost for Provider/Vendor Informational Table is $100 per table and includes lunch for two participants.
