The capability of artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly growing, creating new opportunities for different industries. If you're looking to pursue a dynamic career with knowledge of the evolving AI principles, consider Geneva’s Artificial Intelligence programs.
“The computer science industry is changing rapidly, and those changes are largely driven by the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning,” says Gordon Richards, associate professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and director of the MS in Cybersecurity program. “Our graduates need to be prepared to contribute to this wave of growth from a Christian worldview. This program will position them well."
Geneva College partners with Rize Education to deliver two new programs that feature both theoretical knowledge with advanced applications along with discovering practical integration of artificial intelligence with strong ethical foundations. These collaborative programs give students the advantage of an on-campus and online experience resulting in the most comprehensive education available.
The AI Literacy minor will teach a holistic understanding of artificial intelligence. Throughout this program students are taught how AI is used to solve big issues, how to analyze its impact on business decisions, and thoughtfully consider its ethical use and application in today’s world. The Applied AI minor will teach AI beyond the code, its societal impact in addressing biases in algorithms, and a deep dive into predictive AI modeling and data structures.
As artificial intelligence continues to expand and transform various sectors, aspiring AI professionals can expect salaries to grow. If you're fascinated by technology and its potential to change the world, what could be more exciting than making AI your profession?
Geneva places a strong priority on the integration of faith and learning, providing an excellent framework for the study of artificial intelligence. Dr Richards explains, “Artificial intelligence is developing at an astonishing rate. It is advancing faster than society can understand and process the impending impact. Developing industry professionals that have a biblical worldview will be important in setting a responsible direction for these technologies. Geneva College is just the place for this to happen.”
If you are interested in pursuing a career in artificial intelligence, then consider pursuing Geneva’s AI Literacy and Applied AI minor programs.
