This year's Homecoming planning and preparation is in full swing.

Come down to the campus to celebrate class reunions, department reunions, tailgates, athletic events, food trucks, the 5K, family fun time, the Homecoming parade, and many other annual events! Don't miss Taste of Beaver County, where Alumni and friends enjoy a state-of-the-art selection of some of the best food and drink that ten Beaver County restaurants have to offer at the Class of 2020 Pavilion with a backdrop of live music.

Homecoming weekend will again feature our Historical Campus Tour, featuring historic photos of campus and an AI-generated historical tour narrated by Geneva's founder, John Black Johnston, through our brand-new Geneva Tour app. Be on the lookout for the posted QR codes around campus!

The Dr. Byron I. Bitar Memorial Lecture in Philosophy was endowed by the William C. Kriner Family in memory of Geneva College′s beloved professor of a quarter-century, in order to continue his legacy and vision for philosophy. The Lecture was inaugurated in 2004, a year after Dr. Bitar′s untimely death.

This building will be the new "front porch" of campus, housing Admissions, Financial Aid, and our Alumni office.

John Paul Schaefer Memorial Observatory Sign Dedication

33rd Street, adjacent to the first base side of the baseball field

Enjoy a dedication ceremony for the newly designed sign for the observatory. Light refreshments will be served.

*The John Paul Schaefer Memorial Observatory is named in honor of the father of Mr. John Schaefer, Emeritus Professor of Physics at Geneva, who retired in 2012 after a 50 year career at Geneva. The observatory is located to the west of the campus baseball field on 33rd Street. It consists of a 10’ domed structure to house the main 16” telescope and a control building for computers and storage of other observing equipment.  The open field next to the dome can be used for viewing events with smaller portable telescopes for classes and the public.
