Computer Information Systems majors will demonstrate knowledge in general domain, focused domain, domain application, and faith integration.

  1. Students demonstrate conceptual knowledge of foundational areas of computer science.  These areas include:
    • programming
    • software engineering
    • database systems
    • networks
  2. Students demonstrate conceptual knowledge in one of our predefined minors for computer information systems. Minors available are:
    • Web & Mobile
    • Data Science
    • Cybersecurity
  3. Students carry out problem analysis, synthesis, and evaluation utilizing the appropriate techniques and principles to develop computer-related solutions. 
  4. Students are able to identify ethical issues related to computer science and articulate a Christian response to them.
